Here's something for 
. He's holding some summer contests, so I chose his fantasy world, Zaldor. I've made some new creatures to inhabit Zaldor:
Short-Faced Bear: Inhabits the Zaldor equivalent of North America, it's identical to the short-faced bears of the real world.
Voay: Inhabits the tropical parts, Voay is a relativity harmless species that's overshadowed by more dangerous and competitive species such as Nile crocodiles
Titanis: The Titanis is a dangerous avian that inhabits Zaldor.

Ahh, very interesting it would seem, very nice adaptation into the Zaldor world. So is this Short-Faced bear more like a North American version of the Spectacled bear then? It seems little like Arctodus then.
In the Voay's description, you claim it's "overshadowed by more dangerous and competitive species such as Nile crocodiles", are you implying that it would be the smaller hunter in the same range as Nile Crocodiles? Or just small than them in general compared to Nile crocodiles? Because there would not be Niles crocodiles in Zaldor, Northern or Southern, as it's fauna would resemble American fauna, thus, you would not find a Nile Croc anywhere in Zaldor. Zadlor is technically two continents, not a whole planet.
But the Voay works as a smaller relative of the American, Orinoco, or Morelet' Crocodile. Nothing wrong with the croc, it's just the description seems a little inaccurate.
Yes, the Titanis Terror birds are a nice addition too Zaldor as well. Looks kind of small compared to the bear, but perhaps you are implying the bear is taller. Either way, it's a fine addition.
